Thanks for taking the time to participate the nomination process for the 2010 AMS Officer Elections. Nominees must be members in good standing and you must be a member to place a name in nomination. All nominations are confidential and self-nominations are permitted.

In the space provided below, you may nominate individuals for any elected position on the Executive Committee. The Nominating Committee will consider all nominees regardless of the position you suggest. So, please nominate an individual only once (for only one position). The term of service is two years. The current EC is listed on the ams web site under leadership (click here).

The AMS Leadership also includes a Board of Governors. The Board works with the Executive Committee and helps to set strategic direction. The Board advises on Academy policies, plans, and programs, and initiates changes to official Articles. The Board also is instrumental in determining those individuals whom the Academy chooses to honor. The term of service is 6 years. A list of current Board members can be found on the ams web site under leadership (click here). Type in the names of individuals you wish to nominate for the Board of Governors in the space below. You may nominate up to three individuals.

In addition, the current Board of Governors is charges with evaluating candidacy for the title of AMS Distinguished Fellow. The title Distinguished Fellow is reserved for those members of AMS who have distinghished themselves in an extraordinary manner in terms of service to the Academy. You may nominate a candidate in the space below.
